Operation Military Kids

Over 65 members of New York military families attended Operation Military Kids Family Camp on Saturday, October 16, 2012. Military families traveled from as far as New York City to the 4-H Training Center in Ballston Spa, NY, to enjoy a full day of hands on learning activity and experiences. Participants had the opportunity to explore 4-H projects including; Fishing, Shooting Sports, Living History and Science & Technology. This event was held in conjunction with Make a Difference Day – the largest national day of giving and helping others.  Many thanks to all the staff and dedicated volunteers, including several of our NYS 4-H Shooting Sports instructors, who helped make a difference in the lives our nation’s military families!
