We are proud to name Studio in the Pines renowned woodworkers, Lynn & Charlie Escher, as the 2014 New York State 4-H Shooting Sports Artists of the Year.

Several fine wood items created by Studio in the Pines will be featured in the New York State 4-H Shooting Sports Banquet & Auction at Fort William Henry, Lake George, on Saturday, April 26, 2014.

4-H Shooting Sports is the Fastest Growing
4-H/Youth Development Program in New York State!

The 4-H Shooting Sports Program is the fastest growing 4-H/Youth Development Program in New York State.  During each of the last two years, the 4-H Shooting Sports Program has grown by twenty percent.  In 2013, New York State 4-H Shooting Sports reached over 30,000 youth statewide.  The most recent statistical reports from participating New York counties, as tabulated for the National 4-H Shooting Sports Committee statistical which ended on September 30, 2013, reported 29,644 youth participants taught a total of 40,378 hours by 250 Certified Volunteer Instructors. As we move forward in 2014, our team of dedicated 4-H Staff and Volunteers from across New York State are prepared to raise more funds.  These vital funds will provide the necessary resources to enhance and expand our youth programming efforts as we build upon our exceptional Instructor base through more workshops and advanced training opportunities.
